Abstract: With the rapid development of China's economy, the demand for energy is increasing day by day. Coal, as one of the main energy sources in China, occupies an important position in the energy structure. However, dust pollution generated during coal mining seriously affects the health and safety of underground workers. Therefore, how to effectively carry out dust prevention in rock tunneling faces has become a pressing issue in underground coal mining.
This paper summarizes the current common rock tunneling face dust prevention technologies through sorting and analysis of existing relevant literature data and puts forward some improvement suggestions. Firstly, it introduces the mechanism of dust generation and its harmfulness and analyzes factors affecting dust diffusion and settlement in detail. Then corresponding dust prevention technology schemes are proposed for different situations including wet spray method dry dedusting local exhaust ventilation etc.
In practical operation appropriate technical means should be selected for protection according to specific conditions. For example wet spray can be used to reduce dust diffusion under high temperature humid environment; dry dedusting can be considered under low temperature dry environment carefully clean equipment surfaces to reduce ash accumulation etc.
In addition regular inspection of equipment operation status maintenance ventilation system unblocked etc should also be paid attention during implementation process Strengthen employee training awareness improve their safety production awareness operational norms.
